letβs start with a conversation
15 minute phone call // no-cost
Reaching out for support can feel like a big step β you donβt have to do it perfectly.
If you're curious about working together, youβre welcome to book a free 15-minute intro call. Itβs a chance to ask questions, share whatβs on your mind, and get a feel for whether Soft Story may be the right fit. No pressure, no expectations.
FYI, we currently run soft story part-time. So if you are in urgent need of support, weβve provided some contacts. Click here to access them.

What to expect from an intro call
-
You can book your intro call through the website. This is a short, free phone call to see if Soft Story feels like a good fit.
-
This email will include the time of your call and how to make changes if you need to reschedule
-
This will also include a link to be able to make changes to your appointment.
-
Rhiannon will call your phone at the time you booked. You donβt need to call them β theyβll contact you.
They will call you once at the start time, and if you canβt answer, one more time after 5 minutes.
-
You can ask questions and share anything that feels important about what youβre looking for in a therapist.
Rhiannon will let you know when there is 5 minutes left, and will then need to end the call after 15 minutes. If you still have more questions, you can email Rhiannon.
-
What kind of support you want
Whatβs been hard or confusing
What you need to feel safe and understood
Any access needs or preferences
-
There are no wrong answers. Youβre welcome to write down questions ahead of time if that helps.
-
Thereβs no pressure to book a session straight away. You can decide when (or if) youβre ready.
Rhiannon will also let you know on the call or soon afterwards if they think there is another therapist who might be better suited to you.
